Taking a look at the finer things in a not so fine world.

Everyone has an opinion these days, and unfortunately I am no different when it comes to this fatal human flaw. Lucky for you all, my friends got tired of me rambling on about how, “One day I will win the lottery and begin my true calling as an out of pocket food critic!” And told me it would be better for everyone involved if I just shouted my opinions to the beautiful ethereal void of the internet.

So here we are.

After a childhood of watching Alton Brown break down my love for salty sweet snacks on a molecular level, and an early adulthood of Global Cynicism 101 from (my still dream dinner guest) Mr. Bourdain, I have decided that the only thing any of us really have in common is that we like to eat. So why not write about it?

Much like many of my red blooded American counterparts in search of dopamine and a source of escapism that isn’t as detrimental as hard drugs, or as expensive as a 6month backpacking trip… I often find myself searching for comfort in the foundation of what provides our bodies with enough glucose to keep our resilient hearts beating. Food.

This blog will be a love letter, social narrative, unsolicited opinion, hate mail, and mostly incomprehensible stream of consciousness, all centered around the Culinary Arts.
